B is for Baking!Β

Me and Jack spent this evening baking! We decided on a really easy recipe that we saw on Facebook. I’ll post the link to the recipe at the bottom of this post. ☺️

We popped to Tesco after work and bought all of our ingredients and got straight to it when we came home.
Instead of cherrys and raisins we used chocolate digestive balls and marshmallows. πŸ˜‹

We chopped the creme eggs and then bashed rich tea biscuits – (this was one of my favourite parts; I bashed the biscuits and thought of people that annoy me, as any normal sane person would. 😘) then, we moved on to melting the chocolate! 🀀 We literally melted like 2 bars of milk chocolate and 1 bar of dark chocolate and it was honestly heavenly to lick the chocolate covered bowl and spoon before washing up! πŸ˜‹

After the glorious chocolate melting, we added the bashed biscuits, digestive chocolate balls, marshmallows and some more creme eggs. We placed the contents into a baking tray and then poured extra melted chocolate all over the rocky road and decorated it with even more creme eggs!

There might have even been a few more steps to this recipe but Jack took over quite a lot while I was devouring the chocolate from the bowl before washing it.. I will post the original recipe so you can enjoy these delicious rocky roads without any missing steps! πŸ™ˆπŸ«

The recipe suggests for best results leave over night in the fridge to set; we went with that advice and we’re so looking forward to trying them tomorrow and sharing them with our colleagues at work – if there’s any left! πŸ˜‹πŸ£

This is honestly such an easy recipe to do and we had so much fun doing so! Anyone who knows me knows how hard it is for me to cook! Never mind a bit of baking! I mean I burn toast so… this was a success!

I hope ours look and taste as delicious as Charlotte’s!

Hope you’ve enjoyed! πŸ˜‹
