Basketball! πŸ€

Jack booked tickets for us to see an American basketball team ages ago because in one of my favourite films they go to one and it’s amazing.

I always thought the atmosphere looked pretty cool when I’ve seen it on TV so I was so excited when Jack told me about the tickets.

The Harlem Globetrotters played in Nottingham on Tuesday and wow, just wow! They were incredible , I was literally so amazed by every slam dunk trick; after every single trick I watched with absolute joy as if it was the first one I’d seen! I felt like a kid, I was so overwhelmed with how wonderful and talented the players were. It was just so effortless.

The Harlem Globetrotters are an enthusiastic, phenomenally talented group of individuals. There was humour to accommodate any age and their expertise is literally out of this world!

The game started promptly with some entertainment from the mascots and some kids from the audience. Afterwards the teams were introduced with a bit of friendly competitive comedic banter from either side.

Our seats were pretty good, we had a good view of the court and the players.

The game started and there was several intervals for audience participation, kids to get involved and other humorous bits from the trotters!

I seriously didn’t know what to expect as I’ve never watched a basketball game and I’m not particularly interested in sports as a whole.. but, it was honestly such a great night! I had the best time! If they come again I would definitely be there!!

And they won of course!!! Here’s a cheeky boomerang of the winning shot!
