Oh I do like to be beside the seaside…Β

Today I spent the day with my family and my love at the beach.

We left at 10 o clock and arrived at around midday due to getting lost on the way! When we arrived we all head straight to the beach and I was practically running to see the ocean!

Me and my sister played in the sea like when we was little and she made me lay really still so she could build me a mermaid tail out of sand!

Me and Jack got to enjoy the waves together and even though it was pretty cold, I still had a truly wonderful time.

There’s nothing better than feeling like a kid again, especially when all of your own worries of the world makes life sometimes feel so stressful and hard at times. It was the perfect day just to let go of everything.

We found a nice looking fish and chip shop to eat; I had a chip cob with lots of gravy and salt and vinegar. I had a taste of my Momma’s cod though and that was lovely. The food was amazing. We had a look around lots of shops full of tat, the arcades and bought some delicious dinky donuts, followed by an ice cream for moi! 🍩🍦

It was such a lovely day full of laughs, love and kindness with my family. I’m so grateful to have such special people in my life. ❀️

I absolutely adore the beach, and I would love to live by the ocean. 🌊 Perhaps one day! πŸ’•

Sending love, always.

  1. I come from a seaside place (Southport in Lancashire) and although I haven’t lived there for many years, I still miss it. You all seemed to have a wonderful time. Was it an east coast town you visited? Skegness is the usual one people around here head for. Nothing like a nice ice cream. πŸ˜ƒ
